Capabilities

Once a 3D model is captured by either its mobile or static scanning system, Moedus processes and delivers the data in a format that is compatible with its client’s existing or standard software program (i.e. AutoCAD). Clients then use this data for the following applications:

  • 3D “as-builts” of Real World Conditions
  • 3D Survey and Design
  • Mapping and Modeling for Security and Change Detection
  • Mapping Right-of-Ways, Corridors & Pipelines
  • Clash Detection for Retrofits & Remodels
  • BIM Data Integration
  • Geospatial Modeling
  • Asset Management

Mobile Scanning

Mobile Scanning Samples

Moedus' mobile systems capture High Fidelity 3D data of streets, highways, and right-of-ways with incredible accuracy. Initially developed for the military, our mobile scanners are comprised of high-frequency scanning lasers, dual-frequency GPS receivers, and a proprietary Inertial Navigation System. Each system is portable, weather resistant, and can be shipped to any location throughout the world. Our systems can be mounted on vans, SUVs, ATVs, and boats.

System Specs:

  • Collects up to 56,000 points per second
  • Captures data at speeds of up to 55 mph
  • Range of Sensors: 45 meters
  • Range Accuracy: 1.0 cm - 2.0 cm range

Static Scanning

Static Scanning Samples

Moedus utilizes the most advanced 3D scanning hardware and software on the market for its static (tripod-mounted) scanning projects. Each system is portable and can be shipped to any location throughout the world.

System Specs:

  • Collects 120,000 points per second
  • 4mm positional accuracy @ 80 meters
  • 360° x 270° field-of-view
  • Digital camera for photo overlays

Data Post-Processing

What is the value of data post-processing? Moedus recognizes that there are no "one size fits all" solutions in the spatial information industry. The solution is in the post-processing deliverable. Our experience in understanding the client’s requirements and delivering to clients expectations is paramount.

Once a 3D model is captured by either a mobile or static scanning system, Moedus processes and delivers the data in a format that is compatible with client’s CAD or GIS software program (i.e. AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcView).
